OVERVIEW

The coast offers so many treasures, from the colorful port city of Valparaíso to other worldly views of the Concón sand dunes that sweep through cityscapes till they meet the ocean. This full day tour provides a packed itinerary. You may not get to “see it all,” but we’ll certainly try to show you as much as we can!

As with all our tours, we are open and flexible, and can adjust as needed based on individuals’ interests and capabilities. The timelines and destinations below are the standard tour and our recommended timelines. If you’d like to request adjustments to the itinerary, please discuss these changes with us at least 24 hours in advance.

Concón Dunes

At this stop, you’ll have free time to climb the dunes, feel the soft sand beneath your feet, and take in the incredible scenery. Viña del Mar

Welcome to Viña del Mar, the “Garden City” of Chile. This vibrant coastal city is renowned for its lush parks, elegant architecture, and stunning beaches. During our stop here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore some of its most iconic attractions:

Muelle Vergara: This historic pier, once a bustling hub for commerce, now serves as a beloved landmark and a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll. Enjoy the sea breeze and panoramic views of the coastline as you walk along this charming pier.
Castillo Wulff: Perched dramatically on the rocks overlooking the ocean, this fairy-tale castle blends medieval European architecture with modern Chilean touches. Take in the captivating views from its balconies and learn about its intriguing history.
Reloj de Flores: This enchanting flower clock is a must-see in Viña del Mar. The clock’s face is made entirely of vibrant flowers that change with the seasons, offering a delightful and colorful display year-round. It’s a perfect spot for photos and a symbol of the city’s beauty.

Valparaiso, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Chile’s most captivating cities. As you stroll through its colorful streets, you’ll be immersed in the city’s unique charm and artistic vibe.

Art and Murals: Valparaiso is renowned for its vibrant street art. You’ll discover murals on nearly every corner, each telling a story or expressing the local culture. Be sure to have your camera ready as you explore the open-air museum that the city has become.
Historic Funiculars: Experience a ride on one of Valparaiso’s historic funiculars. These inclined elevators have been transporting residents and visitors up and down the steep hills since the late 19th century.
